With a stunning bouquet of colours, shapes and ideas, the Federal Horticultural Show Koblenz 2011 will dramatically transform the face of Koblenz.The Middle Rhine’s major town is being given a new, green visual identity.The transformation is taking place on three sites covering a total of 48 hectares at the Electoral Palace, the Blumenhof courtyard and Ehrenbreitstein fortress.The Federal Horticultural Show Koblenz 2011 will be the forum for a comprehensive range of recreational and cultural attractions for visitors from home and abroad.

The breathtaking landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rhine Valley” and the rich legacy of Koblenz’s 2000 year urban history provide a fitting backdrop for such a major event as the Federal Horticultural Show 2011.

The Cityhotel Kurfürst Balduin, with its more than 100 rooms, is situated very close to the city centre. If you enjoy shopping through the historical part of the city or walking along the river Moselle up to the “Deutsches Eck” – you will be able to reach on foot every destination within a few minutes. It is easy to find the hotel (via A48, A61, A3)  – then you can park your car in the underground parking lot.

You will find silence in modernly-fitted, comfortable rooms, including telephone, TV, and shower/WC. The ample brakfast, served fom 6:30 to 10:00 am, offers everything for a good start in the day.
